Four teenagers injured after accident
Four teenagers were injured after a collision on County Road D-20, west of Webster City at about 8:52 p.m. Thursday.
A Ford F150, driven by Evan Wolfgram, 18, of Webster City, collided with a Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Michael Ashman, 18, or Stratford.
Ashman slowed and began to turn left at the Van Diest Supply Company driveway. Wolfgram wasn’t able to stop in time, so he attempted to avoid the Camaro by turning left.
Wolfgram then hit the driver’s side of Ashman’s car, then both vehicles came to rest in a ditch.
The F150 rolled onto its top.
Ashman was transported by air ambulance to a Des Moines hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Wolfgram and Ashman’s passenger, Stanley Weeks, age 16, of Webster City were treated and released at Van Diest Medical Center.
Wolfgram’s passenger was transported and held for treatment of non-life threatening injuries at Van Diest Medical Center.
The collision remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
