Decries cemetery thefts
To the editor:
I want to address this to the “animals” who store the floral flowers “saddle” off my dear husband’s grave – N.W. Fitzgerald – in the Duncombe cemetery. I had it made at Hy-Vee, red, white and blue for the 22 years he fought in two wars for your freedom.
They have no respect for anyone, even themselves. They also stole the saddle off my parents’ grave – Mr. and Mrs. Everett Ewing. How low can you get? They were very secured to the headstones.
