A Fort Dodge cage fighter is facing felony charges after he allegedly fractured a mans skull and stole his wallet.
Kyle M. Mericle, 20, is charged with first-degree robbery, a class B felony, and first-degree theft, a class C felony.
Mericle allegedly punched Steven Hardisty, 23 in his head, causing a cut on his lip, fracturing his skull and knocking him unconscious on Aug. 15, according to charging documents.
He then allegedly took the mans wallet from his pants while the man was unconscious.
