Appreciates the help

To the editor:

As of a few days ago I had stopped at a Casey’s store on North 15th Street to fill my fuel tank, and as I went in to pay for the gas I discovered I had only $1 in my billfold, but I was sure I had placed a $20 in my purse upon leaving home. So, I stepped out of line to search my purse and upon finding it I returned. The cashier said my bill has already been paid, so I would just like to say “thank you.” to the total gentleman who paid it

I appreciate the favor very much. I have heard this is what is called “Pay it Forward.”

Thank you sir.
