Museum sets Sellers program
CLARION – A special program, Tea & Recollections, honoring Clarion’s “first lady of finery,” Alvina Sellers, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Heartland Museum, Clarion. The program will be presented by Dr. Sandra Sellers Hanson.
The Museum features three rooms showcasing Sellers’ extensive collection of hats and accessories. Refreshments will be served, followed by a brief program and then a style show by the young ones in attendance. Audience members can wear their own favorite hat or borrow one of Sellers’ for the afternoon. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
Tickets may be purchased at Daisy’s on Main or at the museum during open hours, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. Seating is limited.
