Shelda E. Everhard, 80, of Fort Dodge passed into her eternal home with Jesus on Sunday June 29, 2014 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Family services were held Tuesday July 1, 2014 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lyle Hansen officiating. Interment was in North Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted with Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Shelda is survived by her children and spouses George (Diane) Everhard of Fort Dodge, Janet (Bruce) Hamilton of Sioux Falls, SD and Mike Everhard of Fonda, IA; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and her siblings Gordon (Josephine) Day, Beverly Bonin, Lyle (Valerie) Day, Sharon (Harry) Trowbridge and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Johanna Day, her husband Raymond married 52 years and her brothers Norman and Charles.

Shelda worked 32 years in Fort Dodge at a manufacturing plant that changed names 3 times making electronic parts, Globe Union, Central Lab and CRL. She enjoyed baking for her family and friends. Her family was very important which showed in her love as she embraced each member listening and offering her wisdom.
