MARBLE HILL, Mo. – Ronald M. Aure, 70, of Marble Hill, MO passed away June 25th at St. Francis Hospital, Cape Girardeau, MO.

Before retirement, Ron was a lifetime resident of Humboldt County. He Farmed 30 years in the Bode area and trucked for MS & Sons, Snowy Ridge and Smithway in Iowa and Buchheits in Missouri. He continued his love for farming when he moved to Missouri in 2007.

Ron was born to Donald and Grace (Janssen) Aure in 4/16/44 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Twin Rivers High School where he later served as school board president.

Survivors include his wife Marcia D. (Angle) of Marble Hill of 26 years. His children: Michelle (Brad Duffy) McKenna, Humboldt; Aaron Aure, Brookings, SD; Todd Bradley, Maplewood, MO; Tonya (Todd) Cort, Maplewood, MO; Taedra (Jeff) Hickam of Perryville, MO; Tess (Patrick) Duffey, Maplewood, MO. He was thoroughly proud of his nine grandchildren. Siblings include Robert (Shirley) Aure, Spirit Lake, IA; Ramona (Roger) Markman, Renwick, IA; Rebecca (Mike) Waggoner, Blaine, MN and many nieces and nephews. His aunts Betty Janssen and Della Trauger, Humboldt, IA coffee buddies of Iowa and Missouri.

Hutchins Funeral home in Marble Hill, MO is in charge of the family viewing. Memorial service will be held at the Bode Community Center Bode, IA on July 12th at 4:00 with fellowship and refreshments to follow.
