DCI investigating Webster City death
WEBSTER CITY – Corbin Graesch, of Webster City, is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of his father, Steven Graesch, over the weekend.
The younger Graesch, 27, allegedly got into an altercation with his 61-year-old father early Saturday morning, according to a press release from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
According to the release, at around 2 a.m. Monday, Webster City Police responded to a call of a deceased male at 1932 Des Moines St. in Webster City.
Steven Graesch’s body was found at the scene.
His autopsy is expected to be conducted today in Ankeny by Chief State Medical Examiner Dr. Julia Goodin.
Corbin Graesch is being held in the Hamilton County Jail.
