Kuiper paces FD girls in own invite
The Fort Dodge Invitational plugged through some rough weather Monday at the Fort Dodge Country Club during the Dodger Invitational.
Waukee fired a team total of 343 to win top honors, followed by Marshalltown’s 369. The host Dodgers had a 430.
Kylie Kuiper, a junior, led Fort Dodge with a 97. Junior Payton Christy followed with a 105, while Jozlynn Porter and Alex Hays each had 114s.
Karli Kerrigan from Ankeny Centennial was the medalist with a round of 76.
Chloee Narber carded a 115 and Elizabeth Gollob a 123 to round out the varsity lineup for the Dodgers.
On the junior varsity side, Emma Gibson had a 125 and both Madison Gordon and Emily Gosselin had 131s.
Fort Dodge returns to action Thursday in Mason City for the CIC Northern meet.
