FARNHAMVILLE – Donald D. Fuss, 63, of Waterloo and formerly of Farnhamville passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his home in Waterloo.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at St. Joseph Church, Lohrville with Rev. Lynn Burch officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lohrville. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Palmer and Sons Funeral Home, Gowrie with a Vigil at 5:00 p.m.

Don is survived by his wife, Pattie; stepchildren, Julie Schroeder of Des Moines; JillAnn Cahail of Adel; Jim (Stacey) Fuss of Fortson, GA; Joslyn (Jamie Meyer) Jorgensen of Churdan; grandchildren, Jalen; Haley; Cheyenne; Dylan; Gage; Brody; Ben and Maddie; sisters, twin Donna Holm of Farnhamville and Ida Fuss of Perry; two brothers, Bill (Katie) Fuss of Mountain, WI; Danny (Sheri) Fuss of Nevada; and brother-in-law, Denny Houghton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ruth (Little) Fuss; sister, Genny Houghton; son-in-law, Lee Cahail; and nephew, Rusty Buchmann.

Donald Dean Fuss was born August 26, 1950 in Nevada. He worked as a farmhand for several years for the Worbis, Urelius, Anderson, and Peterson Farms. He also was a mechanic at B & G Auto in Farnhamville. Don served on the Farnhamville Fire Department.
