Mary L. Ricker, 67, of Fort Dodge passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Mary Louise Ford was born on September 11, 1946 in Dexter, IA to Hazel and John (Jack) Ford. As a young girl the family moved to Humboldt and she graduated from Humboldt High School. The couple later divorced, whereupon Mary and the children moved to Fort Dodge.

She was proud of her family and her Irish heritage. She will be remembered always for her humor, and for her respect and love for animals.

She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren (or as she called them “my greats”) so much.

The family wishes to extend deepest gratitude to the tireless staff at The Marian Home and Trinity Regional Medical Center for their comforting support and gentle care in Mary’s last days.
