Gaels win medley relay
CLARION – The St. Edmond boys came away with one meet title at the Clarion-Goldfield meet on Friday night.
The medley relay of Tristan Sitzmann, Devin Camamo, Tate O’Tool and Landon Peed finished first in a time of 3:53.4.
“It was great to win that,” said St. Edmond head coach Bill Kibby. “It was the second time we won it (won it in Eagle Grove).
“It’s been our best race so far and I knew it would be. It was a great night to run.”
Vinnie Harvey grabed second in the shot put with a toss of 40-9 and O’Tool was second in the 200-meter dash in 24.31.
O’Tool was also third in the 100-meter dash (11.64). Also finishing third was Harvey (122-7 in discus), Casey McEvoy (5:04.30 in 1,600), Landon Hughett (1:01.20 in 400 hurdles).
The 4×200 relay of Sitzmann, Camamo, Payton Sitzmann and Hughett was third in a time of 1:41.55.
The Gaels are back in action next Friday at the ADM Relays.
