Local audit reports released

An audit report on Webster County Metropolitan Law Enforcement Telecommunications Board in Fort Dodge has been released by Schnurr & Company, LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants.

The Telecommunications Board had revenues of $429,575 for the year ended June 30, 2013, which included $381,835 from member assessments and $47,740 from Webster County E-911 service board fees.

The Telecommunications Board expenses totaled $433,582, a 4.72 percent increase from the prior year. These included $395,275 for salaries and benefits, $412,288 for terminal billings and $5,702 for professional services.

Schnurr & Co. LLP, certified public accountants and consultants, also released an audit report on Region V Hazardous Materials Response Commission.

The Commission’s primary government operating revenues totaled $284,645 for the year ended June 30, 2013, including $132,385 from county contributions; $118,180 from Federal grants and $3,427 from incident reimbursements.

Operation expenses for the year totaled $278,333, a 50.03 percent increase from the prior year. These included $60,746 for administration expense, $37,467 for team contract paid to the City, $44,917 for training expense and $47,713 for task for expense.
