Guido pleads not guilty
GOLDFIELD – A woman accused in a child sexual abuse case has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Diana Guido, 49, of Goldfield, also demanded a speedy trial, which is scheduled for May 6 in Wright County.
She has been charged with second-degree sexual abuse, indecent contact with a child, indecent exposure and dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to a minor.
According to the criminal complaints, filed with the Wright County attorney’s office, Guido allegedly sexually assaulted a girl between the ages of 10 and 11 between 2011 and 2013.
The alleged incidents happened at Guido’s Goldfield home.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Iowa Department of Human Services. The case was investigated by the Eagle Grove Police Department.
Guido’s husband, Leonardo Guido-Acosta, is facing a second-degree sexual abuse charge. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
