Coppin Chapel hosts Community Choir
The Fort Dodge Community Choir will host a Praise Program at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Coppin Chapel A.M.E. Church, 329 First Ave. S.
Admission is free, and a freewill offering will taken for the Coppin Chapel Church. The choir will sing and present a praise dance.
The choir members come from different churches of all denominations throughout Fort Dodge, said choir President Sherry Washington.
The choir has been putting on programs at various churches, particularly churches with very few members, and will visit any church that is interested.
“Coppin Chapel is a historical fixture in the community and has helped and served many,” Washington said. “Julia Naylor and Jane Burleson are long-standing members and are very instrumental in the community.”
