Appreciates medical response

To the editor:

On the afternoon of Feb. 15, my wife was watching TV when she started having severe back pain. I called for medical help where we live and they transported her to the ER at the hospital. The result was that she was having a heart attack with no pain in her chest or arms. The “widow maker” artery was 100 percent closed along with some heart muscles not functioning. Within three hours from the time she entered the hospital, a stent was put in and she was in ICU recovering. What great work by the doctor and medical staff. Also, ladies do not ignore back pain.
