CLARE – Todd L. Niemeyer, 55, of Clare, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

A service honoring Todd’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, at the Hope Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Bob Henkelman and Rev. Robert Strand co-officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Deer Creek Township. The visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.

Todd is survived by his parents, Vern and Evelyn Niemeyer, Clare; his siblings, Jeff Niemeyer, Fort Dodge; Eric Niemeyer, Bentonville, Ark.; Susan Niemeyer Miller, San Antonio, Texas; his maternal grandmother Hazel Fitzgerald, Fort Dodge; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Todd Leroy Niemeyer, the son of Vern and Evelyn (Halverson) Niemeyer, was born December 23, 1958, in Fort Dodge. He lived with his parents on the family farm near Clare. Todd enjoyed participating in activities at Northwoods Living in Fort Dodge. He also liked to listen to music, take trips to the lake and loved thunderstorms.
