Appreciates help at Riddle’s
To the editor:
Sometimes in life one is surprised by the generosity and caring of other people when it is not expected. My wife went into Riddle’s Jewelry in the Mall and asked employees to cut a two band wedding ring so it could be donated to poor struggling people in Haiti for their weddings. The work was done at no charge in contrast to other jewelers who would have charged a fee.
Later, the manager of Riddle’s, Nathan Dencklau, went out of his way to acquire and donate other jewelry to help the poor in Haiti. His caring and generosity are deeply appreciated.
