ALGONA – Luke TerHark and the Algona boys got the better of Bishop Garrigan here Friday night, 65-51.

TerHark scored 23 points, hitting three triples and was 12 of 13 from the free throw line, and Landon Rash added 17 on five three-pointers.

For Garrigan Nathan Krieps scored a game-high 24.

The Raiders built a 47-17 halftime lead.

Reed Tellinghuisen led the Raiders with 24 points. Tyler Jacobson had 18 and Justin Kraft chipped in with 16.

Curt Castenson had 10 points.

MANSON – The Manson Northwest Webster boys downed South Central Calhoun by a 70-55 final Friday night.

Collin Christensen tallied 17 points for the Cougars (12-6 overall), while Hudson Spedding added 13.

Leading the way for the Titans with 28 points was Jake Petzenhauser. Sam Spencer chipped in 13.

GOWRIE – The Pocahontas Area boys claimed a 75-59 victory over Prairie Valley Friday night.

Tanner Youngberg led the way for the Indians (8-10) with 22 points.

Austin Roetman also contributed 17 points for Pocahontas Area, while Devon Weidauer added 12.

For the Warriors (3-13), Conner Conrad (20), Dakota Jaeschke (15) and Logan Boerner (10) each scored in double figures. Jaeschke also grabbed 13 rebounds.
