Finishing third for Fort Dodge were Bryce Rogers (100 breaststroke, 1:12.45), the 200 freestyle relay (Sanford, Riley Helmers, Brandt and Tucker Van Wey, 1:92.90) and the 200 medley relay (Zach Provin, Rogers, Emery and Helmers, 1:56.68).
“We knew we needed to get first and third heading into the last event, and we ended up second and fourth,” said FDSH head coach Joel Greathouse. “We’re still maintaining our times, though. It was an all-around close meet with good competition. It was a fun meet to watch.”
Next action for the Dodgers is Saturday when they host their own Rusty Garst Invitational. Start time is set for 12:30 p.m.
