Harry Karageorge, 75, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Baltimore, MD, died Sunday. January 12, 2014 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.
Services will be 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. Burial will be at a later date in the First Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
Harry Karageorge, the son of George and Ethel (Katsadoris) Karageorge, was born June 4, 1938 in Baltimore, MD. Harry was a 1956 graduate of Patterson Park High and attended John Hopkins for 3 years. Harry served in the U.S. Army from 1961 – 1964. On July 4, 1965 he was united in marriage to Susan Waters. The couple lived in Baltimore, MD and Buffalo, NY and in 1980 made their home in Fort Dodge, IA. Harry was employed 43 years with National Gypsum as a Regional Quality Supervisor.
Survivors include his wife Susan; his children, Christopher (Faye) Karageorge of Humboldt and Wendy Karageorge of Fort Dodge; his grandson Camden.
