Elderbridge seeks funding proposals

Elderbridge Agency on Aging is requesting funding proposals from service providers in Planning and Service Area 1 that wish to provide and/or expand home and community-based services to the elderly.

The goal of services that receive funding must support Elderbridge’s mission to enable older Iowans to live with the maximum possible dignity, well-being and independence in their communities.

Services to be considered for funding include chore, health promotion, homemaker, legal assistance, medication management, mental health outreach, personal care, reassurance/visiting, respite, and transportation.

Organizations submitting applications must provide services within Elderbridge’s 29-county service area: Audubon, Buena Vista, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Clay, Crawford, Dickinson, Emmet, Floyd, Franklin, Greene, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Lyon, Mitchell, O’Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Sioux, Webster, Winnebago, Worth and Wright counties.
