Subscription rates increase
The Messenger subscription rates are increasing effective today. Three-month subscription terms for seven-day subscribers are increasing 15 cents per week.
Easy Pay subscriptions for seven-day carrier-delivered subscribers will increase $1.20 per month for carrier-delivered subscribers, $1.46 per month for local mail subscribers and $1.55 per month for non-local mail subscribers.
Sunday-only three-month subscription terms are increasing 10 cents per week for carrier-delivered subscribers and 5 cents per week for mail subscribers. Easy Pay subscriptions for Sunday-only subscribers will increase 85 cents per month for carrier delivery, 65 cents per month for local mail subscribers and 60 cents per month for non-local mail subscribers.
All Easy Pay subscribers will continue to receive the same discounted rate as subscribers who pay their subscription annually. Subscribers who pay 26 or 52 weeks at a time receive discounts. The newsstand price will remain at 75 cents per daily issue and $1.50 for the Sunday paper. For complete subscription rate information, refer to the publisher’s box on Page 2A.
