LifeWorks fundraiser succeeds
To the editor:
As the LifeWorks Charitable Foundation closes the books on its most recent fundraiser, the board would like to thank all the people, businesses and friends who contributed to its success.
The event would not be possible without its sponsors. Gold level sponsors included CSBank, Fort Dodge Ford, Kemna Auto, Northwest Bank, Riley Armstrong, Shimkat Motors, UnityPoint Allergy, Dr. Carey Bligard at UnityPoint Dermatology and Wells Fargo Bank. Silver sponsors included: Anderson & Co., Blue Ribbon-Pelham Water, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Carpetworld Flooring America; Civitan; Cornwell, Frideres, Maher and Associates; Daniel Pharmacy, Decker Trucking, Doyle Construction, First State Bank; Dr. Jeff Foreman, Great Western Bank, Gunderson Funeral Home, Jim’s Service Station, Kallin-Johnson, Marco Inc, Nestle Purina, Rich and Jo Seltz, Ross’ Appliance, Storey-Kenworthy and Woodruff Construction.
The silent auction experienced considerable growth from prior years, thanks to these donors: Active Health Chiropractic, Dr. Carey Bligard, Central Perk and Dessert, Fort Dodge Ford, MaryBeth Frischmeyer, Janet Hubbell, Kirkberg Connections, The Messenger, Dana Oswald, Diana Willerth, Bob Wood, and Younkers Salon.
There are many others who contributed to the event’s success, as well.
We are grateful for our ticket vendors, which included Daniel Pharmacy, Eighth Note Music, the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance and Hy-Vee.
We appreciated those who contributed their musical talents; Jeff Bluml, Kris Carr, Jeremy Ober, and Katrina O’Brien.
We are thankful to Becker Florists, Julie Lunn, and Perfectly Done by Barb, who contributed their time and talent to decorating the Opera House.
Thanks also go to the Opera House staff for their excellent service.
We are especially grateful to John and Mary Sersland, who were willing to tell their story.
Support from so many ensure the Foundation’s success.
We could not have done it without them.
