ISU sets ag career job fair

AMES – The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University is holding its largest job fair ever from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the Lied Recreation Athletic Center.

More than 230 companies and organizations will participate.

“This continues to be an amazing time for students in agriculture and related life science areas,” said Mike Gaul, director of Agriculture and Life Sciences Career Services. “The growth of this event and the number of new companies in attendance is a testament to the quality of CALS students and programs.”

The job fair provides an opportunity for all ISU students to meet with recruiters on internships and full-time positions available with agribusinesses, commodity groups and governmental agencies.

Many students from campuses across the country attend what is known as the largest career fair of its kind.
