FD?magic show brings message

Magic and Morality will be performing a free magic show for the community at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 in the Harvest Baptist Church auditorium, 614 Second Ave. S.

David Corn will be doing large-scale, professional illusions, such as cutting someone in half, escaping from shackles and chains, slicing a person in thirds and performing the famous Houdini “Metamorphosis” illusion.

The show is free and open to the public. Door prizes include two tickets to a Iowa State Cyclones football game, a two-month membership at the Fort Dodge REC, a PlayStation 3 with a starter pack and several smaller items. Registration for door prizes begins at 6:30 p.m. when the doors open.

In 2012, Corn performed in more than 200 shows. He is on the road full time and has performed in more than 65 public schools in 15 states across the country. His school show helps young people with issues such as bullying, substance abuse, respect and excellence. His church show will use Scripture and focus on eternal truths, rather than temporal.

The magic show is free, but seating is limited. Call 408-6237 for more information, or pick up free tickets at the Harvest Baptist Church.
