Truck rolls, man dies
The 32-year-old driver of a pickup truck was killed early Saturday morning when the vehicle went off the road and rolled.
According to Webster County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Kevin Kruse, the accident happened at South 32nd Street and Paragon Avenue. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicle. The driver was believed to not have been wearing a seat belt.
The driver’s name wasn’t available Saturday evening, pending notification of relatives.
The accident was reported shortly after 3 a.m. and remains under investigation.
