Schroeder joins LifeWorks boards

Mel Schroeder has joined both the LifeWorks Community Services Board and the LifeWorks Charitable Foundation Board of Directors.

Schroeder worked more than 34 years for Iowa Central Community College before retiring, having served the last 12 as vice president of instruction. He is a member and past president of the Noon Rotary Club, a past president of the Fort Dodge Chamber of Commerce, board member and treasurer of the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight and a board member of the St. Olaf Lutheran Church Foundation.

Schroeder has a bachelor’s degree in business education from Iowa State Teachers College, a master’s in business education from Colorado State College and attained specialist certification in educational administration from Iowa State University.

He and wife Jo live in Fort Dodge and have two adult sons.
