Webster County Fair succeeds
To the editor:
The Webster County Fair Board wants to extend many thanks and much appreciation to each and every one that helped to make the all new 2013 Webster County Fair a huge success. Putting on a county fair takes countless hours of planning, organizing, preparation and an enormous group effort not only from the board members themselves, but a huge commitment from their families that support them as well as the fair.
The 4-H/FFA families, leaders superintendents, Extension staff, vendors and our new groundskeeper, Ron Webb, have certainly done an outstanding job of helping to make this fair grow even bigger and better. The Antique Tractor Club, The Messenger, FD Press and Dayton Leader have been very supportive this year also.
The Fair Board would like to thank the county supervisors for their support as well as all of the families and businesses that made a monetary donation or donated their time, labor or equipment. It is all greatly appreciated.
And a big “thank you” to the families and businesses that were there for the livestock and quilt auction in support of the youths and the Fair Board. A special “thank you” to the public that came out in support of our fair this year as we loved seeing all of you there.
We are already making plans for a bigger and better fair for 2014 and would like your support or ideas. You can find us online at www.webstercountyfair.com or on Face Book.
Thanks again to all of you.
