LOHRVILLE – Rick Cunningham, 63, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge. Memorial services will be 10:30 Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with burial at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.

Rick is survived by his children Craig (Tara) Cunningham of Lohrville, Jay (Steph) Cunningham of Lohrville, Mona (Chad) Potts of Lake City, step-children Tonia Barrix of Midlothian, TX, Scott (Christy) Lichtenberg of Garland, TX, and Lisa (Steve)Ristvedt of Boone, 11 grandchildren, sisters Lavon Green, Mary (Jerry) Tannehill, and Ruth (Jerry) Busch, and brother Eldon (Peggy) Cunningham. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy in 1988 and Lola Schull in 2010, sisters Darlene Dillon and June Cunningham,brotherLuverne Cunningham, and brother-in-law Gary Green.

Rick was born on June 7, 1950 in Lake City, Iowa to Oscar and Dorothy (Kelly) Cunningham. He graduated from Lohrville High School in 1968, and on January 25, 1969 he was married to Nancy Hintz in Lake City. Nancy died on June 28, 1988. Rick worked at Winkleman Pony Farms for 20 years and Bowie Manufacturing in Lake City until he retired in April 2012. Together with Lola, Rick enjoyed running the Fancy Feathers and Tiny Hooves Farm in Lohrville where they raised miniature goats and exotic birds.
