Lehigh River Days begins Friday

LEHIGH – The 32nd annual Lehigh River Days will be held Friday through June 16.

The show and shine car show will be held Friday. The Ghostriders band will play during and after the car show, performing 1950s and 1960s music from 6:30 to about 7 p.m., then country music until 10:30 p.m.

After the parade June 15, local musicians will play old-time country music until about 12:30 p.m. followed by 1950s and 1960s music by the Elvis and Friends band. Road Toast will play a variety of rock music for the Firemen’s Ball from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. All music will be on Main Street.

Town heritage will be celebrated with a display of old mining artifacts on Main Street June 15 after the parade. For more information, call Dan Smith at 359-2502.
