Jury seated in Levin trial
A jury of seven men and six women – which includes one alternate – has been seated in the murder and kidnapping trial of Kirk Levin.
The jury was seated around 3:45 p.m.
Levin, 21, of Early, is accused of killing his mother at her home in January and kidnapping a 21-year-old Storm Lake woman the same day. He has pleaded not guilty to the case, which was moved from Sac County to Webster County late last month.
The trial will begin with opening statements at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
