CEDAR FALLS – RoxAnne G. Lang, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born August 14, 1922, in Wishek, North Dakota, daughter of Philip J. and Mary A. (Dietrich) Koch. She married Ludwig C. “Lewie” Lang on April 2, 1942, in Napoleon, ND. He died August 20, 1991.

She graduated from Napoleon High School in North Dakota and then from Young’s School of Beauty, Waterloo. She owned RoxAnne’s Beauty Shop, operated out of her home.

Survived by: four sons: Rev. Carroll (Judy) of Fort Dodge, IA, Robert of Des Moines, IA, David (Jean) of Honolulu, HI, and Mark (Toni) of Waterloo, IA; three daughters: Patricia Gohman of Kingman, AZ, Jeannette (Jeffrey) Slaughter of Union, IA, and Marilyn Hurd of Kingman, AZ; one brother: Calvin Koch of Portland, OR; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: one son in infancy; twelve siblings; a son-in-law, Paul Hurd; a great-grandson and great-granddaughter.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. John American Lutheran Churchwith private family burial prior to the service in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service and also for one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
