SE girls bow out in regional golf
POCAHONTAS – A team score of 402 wasn’t enough to advance the St. Edmond girls golf squad here Monday.
The Gaels finished fourth, as Alta/Aurelia and Emmetsburg claimed the top-two places and advanced to the Class 2A state golf meet.
Alta/Aurelia was the overall team with a 354, which was 33 strokes ahead of the E-Hawks. Hinton placed third.

“The ladies ended the season with a tough day,” said SEHS head coach Justin Faiferlick. “I felt we had a good season with such a young team in a transitional year for us.
“We are extremely excited with what the next few years will bring with such a young team.”
