Donna M. McLoud, 73, of Fort Dodge passed away May 1, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be Monday May 6th at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. John Sersland officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Donna is survived by her husband, Daniel; children, Deb Nickless of Fort Dodge; Melody (Cary) Holm of Fort Dodge; daughter-in-law, Tammy McLoud of Georgia; Scott McLoud (fiancee Amy Carter) of Georgia; Lisa Tharp of Fort Dodge; and Leslie Flowers of Callender; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Trueblood of Illinois and Charlene Christensen of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Ralph and Lucille Trueblood; infant daughter, Linda Marie McLoud and son, Mark Allen McLoud.

Donna Mae Samsel was born September 16, 1939 in Iowa City. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. Growing up her favorite past times were roller skating and dancing. 55 years ago she met Daniel McLoud; the man she would spend the rest of her life with. The couple was united in marriage on June 28, 1958 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. They then established their home in Fort Dodge. Shespent her life raising her family and taking care of their home. Donna loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
