HUMBOLDT – Eunice A. Blomker, 86, of Humboldt, passed away April 22, 2013 at the Long Term Care Unit of the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.

Eunice is survived by her son, Greg Blomker of Humboldt; daughters, Jane Null of Shoreview, MN, Roberta Siemonsma of Forrest Lake, MN, and Karen (Michael) Bonnstetter of West Bend; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Alice (Lloyd) Goodell of Humboldt, and Georgia (Marv) Sorensen of Gilmore City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Purina Watts; husband, Kenneth; brothers, Kenneth, Wayne, Cecil, Russell, and Ronald; and sisters, Joyce and Virginia.

Eunice Arlene Watts, the daughter of Jess Ulysses and Purina Mathilda (Petersen) Watts, was born July 28, 1926 and raised on a farm near Rutland, Iowa. She attended Maple Grove country school near her home and graduated from Rutland High School. Following her education, Eunice was employed in the office of Doctor’s Nell and Ivan Schultz. On May 12, 1946, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Blomker. The couple farmed together in Humboldt County all of their working lives until their retirement in 1984. In 1986, they made their home in Humboldt. Mr. Blomker passed away in September of 1988.
