UPDATE: Man rescued from Kenyon Road bridge
The Kenyon Road bridge has reopened after law enforcement officers talked man off the side Tuesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old man, who was not identified by police, had been there for over an hour.
Police Chief Tim Carmody said the man was transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center for an evaluation.
The incident caused traffic on the Kenyon Road bridge to be shut down in both directions while officers talked the man off the ledge.
The Webster County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa State Patrol and Fort Dodge Fire Department also responded to the scene.
