Iowa Central BPA?group excels at state
Iowa Central Business Professionals of America students competed at the State Leadership Conference in Des Moines Feb. 24-26.
Four members placed sixth or better in their respective fields, and three qualified for the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla., on May 8-12.
Devin Mabra qualified for the National Conference and placed first in the category of Contemporary Issues. Stephanie Chase qualified in both Fundamental Desktop Publishing and Integrated Office Applications. She was first in Integrated Office Applications and fifth in Fundamental Desktop Publishing, as well. Roger Helms will also attend the National Leadership Conference as a National Intern Qualifier.
Mabra and Chase teamed up with Tonya Ramsey for a third place finish and Honorable Mention honors in Administrative Support Team. Ramsey was also sixth in Keyboard Production.
