GOWRIE – Danny Beryl Vinchattle, 59, of Gowrie, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m. at Otho-Kalo Community Church, Otho with Pastor Beryl Vinchattle officiating. Burial will be in Gowrie Township Cemetery, Gowrie. A visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Palmer and Swank Funeral Home, Gowrie.

Survivors include his daughters, Allison Vinchattle and her children, Chloe and Madison of Fort Dodge; Roslyn Vinchattle of Gowrie; sons, Joseph Vinchattle and his wife Kellie and their daughter, Claire of Omaha, NE; John Vinchattle and his fianc Brittany York and their son, Kasen of Omaha, NE; parents, Beryl and LaVanne Vinchattle of Fort Dodge; sisters, June Bacon of Fort Dodge; Sally Ackerson of Paton; brother, Dean Vinchattle and his wife Vicky of Gowrie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Danny Beryl Vinchattle was born on June 19, 1953, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Gowrie where he graduated from Prairie Community High School. He then attended Iowa Central Community College. Following his education Danny farmed with his dad and brother in Gowrie. His passions were farming, golfing, music, singing, and playing the harmonica. Danny had a strong faith in God. The most important thing in his life was his loving family.
