CIC girls teams announced

Fort Dodge sophomore Lani Van Zyl was honored as a second team all-Central Iowa Conference Northern division selection.

Van Zyl, who was called up last year as a freshman to help the Dodgers, averaged 10 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

Tiana Mericle, Mariah Welter, Ashley Altman and Mallory Kilian were honorable mention selections for Fort Dodge.

The Dodgers went 3-17 on the year and 0-10 in league games.

Kilian and Altman each posted six points per night, while Mericle led the team with seven rebounds a game.

Mason City led the way with three first team selections, while Ames had two.
