OMAHA, Neb. – Michael E. Grove, 51, of Omaha Nebraska, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday February 16, 2013 at Quality Living in Omaha.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his daughter, Angel Grove Aguirre of Omaha, NE; son, Tim Grove of Enid, OK; 8 grandchildren; parents, Joan Sullivan (George) of Fort Dodge; Roger Grove (Diann) of Fort Dodge; brothers, Kenneth Grove of Badger; Allen Grove of Denver, CO; and a sister, Nikki Grove of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Lucille Sullivan and Roger Grove Sr., and Dorothy (Johnson) Grove.

Michael E. Grove was born on May 18, 1961 in Fort Dodge. He attended schools here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. Michael then attended Metro Community College in Omaha, NE. He was employed with Nebraska Trane. In 1992, he started his own business at home, Sizzlers Hotline and Reality Replicas. Michael also wrote and published “A Pictorial Guide to Sizzlers”. He retired in 2007, due to MS.
