Jury in Tyler murder case goes home for weekend
Judge Thomas Bice sent the jury in the Hillary Tyler murder trial home for the weekend late Friday afternoon. The jur will continue its deliberations Monday.
Tyler is accused of killing her newborn son in a Fort Dodge motel in September 2011. She has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Assistant Iowa Attorney General Laura Roan and Tyler’s attorney, Joseph McCarville, both made their case to the jury as to why it should convict or acquit her.
