A stranger lends a hand

To the editor:

Thursday morning, I was on my way to drop kids off at their bus stop when my car broke down on Highway 169. I didn’t have my purse or my cell phone, so we started walking. Then it started to rain, and I was carrying my youngest in a car seat, which is very heavy. Someone in a white truck pulled over, and gave us a ride. I didn’t get his name, but I am so happy he was kind enough to help us. The kids made it to the bus on time, and the kids learned a great lesson on kindness. Thank you again.
