BAGLEY – Rebecca Leigh Gast Bartlett, 28, of Bagley, Iowa, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 1, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born on June 11, 1984 to Bruce and Kay Gast in Winterset, Iowa. Rebecca was a member of the graduating class of 2003 from Fort Dodge Senior High in Fort Dodge, Iowa. On January 3, 2004, Rebecca was united in marriage with Micah Bartlett, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. While living in Fort Dodge, they were blessed with three children, Kristina age 7, Leigha age 5, and Ryan age 3. She graduated from Kaplan University with an Associate degree in Business Administration in the fall of 2010. They moved to Bagley, Iowa in 2011 into Becca’s dream house. Becca made this their home and enjoyed filling it with family, friends, and memories. Rebecca accepted the Lord as her Savior at a young age and lived her life praising God by teaching Sunday school, singing in the church choir, singing special music, and by faithfully attending church services. She attended church at First Baptist Church in Guthrie Center. Rebecca enjoyed learning to speak Korean, collecting scrapbooking items, watching Korean dramas, baking and trying new and unique recipes. She loved sharing stories about her children and sending picture messages of their accomplishments and daily activities. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Micah Bartlett, their three children Kristina, Leigha, and Ryan Bartlett. Her parents, Bruce and Kay Gast of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and five siblings, Nathan (Shana) Gast of Kansas City, Kansas, Rachel (James) Burbridge, Daniel Gast, and Ami (Robert) Walz III all of Charles City, Ia, and Matthew Gast of Fort Dodge, Ia. Also she is survived by mother in law Janet Bartlett and father in law Steve Bartlett, several brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery, in Guthrie Center, Iowa.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at The First Baptist Church, Guthrie Center, Iowa.

Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, First Baptist Church, Guthrie Center, Iowa.

Memorials may be directed to any Great Western Bank branch, where a memorial fund has been set up in Rebecca’s name.
