BRADGATE – Treva A. Worster, 98, of Humboldt, formerly of Bradgate, passed away February 3, 2013 at the Humboldt Care Center South. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Faith United Methodist Church in Gilmore City. Visitation is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Interment will be in Marble Valley Cemetery, Gilmore City.

Mrs. Worster is survived by her daughters, Janice McGuire of DeKalb, IL, Lilas Brzuchalzki of Algona, and Wanda Naeve of Scottsdale, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Wilma Erdman of Humboldt. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Laurel; sisters, Norma Olson and Margaret Gonzagowski; grandchildren, William McGuire and Brad Naeve; an infant brother; and her son-in-law, Jack Brzuchalzki.

Treva Alleen Blake, the daughter of Herbert and Annie (Jolliffe) Blake, was born June 4, 1914 on the family farm near Bradgate, Iowa. She received her education and graduated from Bradgate High School in 1933. She was united in marriage to Laurel Worster on August 28, 1935 at Rutland. The couple farmed together near Bradgate for many years until moving into Bradgate in 1978. They then made their home at Humboldt Homes until becoming residents of the Humboldt Care Center South. Mr. Worster passed way in 2009.

Mrs. Worster was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church.
