David Michael Rotolo went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2013.

Visitation will be at New Covenant Christian Church, 3318 5th Ave South on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 4-6 followed by a celebration of his life from 6-8.

David was born to Vincenzo and Genevieve Rotolo on August 1, 1954 in Jamaica, NY. He grew up in Albany, NY. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1972 and entered the army with an appointment to the Military Academy at West Point. He was a member of the class of 1977. He held a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He held many leadership positions in manufacturing. From 1996-2007, he served the Lord at NCCC as worship leader, youth pastor and associate pastor.

He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Delissa (Lisa) Hamm on March 20, 1981. They made their home in Fort Dodge since 1992.

He had many accomplishments in his life, but he would tell you that his greatest reward was praising the Lord. He was a gifted musician. When he played, many were able to touch heaven. He also enjoyed fishing, was an avid NY Giants fan, riding his motorcycle until his health wouldn’t permit it and later his Roush mustang.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, son Vincenzo, Fort Dodge, daughter Lisa Marie Feist (Jeff, grandson Jeffrey) Kingston, PA, brothers Michael Rotolo (Annamarie), Jim Rotolo (Maria), father Vincenzo and stepmother Marie, all of Albany, NY, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Genevieve Rotolo.

David had a great love for his family and will be greatly missed by all that were blessed to have known him. He was indeed a gentle giant.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
