BADGER – Linda L. Rodenberg, 64, of Badger, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

A service honoring Linda’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Darryl Landsverk officiating. Interment will be in Blossom Hill Cemetery. The visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.

Linda is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Matt (Amy) Rodenberg, Dakota City; Allison (Andy) Linahon, Ventura; three grandchildren, Gabe Rodenberg and Madison and Makayla Linahon; and one sister Jeanie Lemberg, Fort Dodge. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and many aunts and uncles.

Linda Louise Heffner, the daughter of Carl and Charlotte (Davis) Heffner, was born September 16, 1948 in Webster City. Her family moved to Badger and she graduated from Fort Dodge Community Schools. She was employed with Franklin (Webster City Products) in Webster City. On November 20, 1973, Linda was united in marriage to Paul Rodenberg in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They lived in Badger and she stayed home to raise her children and help with her grandchildren. Linda was also employed with Target and with the Fort Dodge Community School District. Linda was a current member of the Badger City Council, a position she had held for six years.

Linda treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, by attending as many family events as possible.
