Mary Jo Anglin Olson, 53, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sie- vers Funeral Home with Chaplin Barb Stumbo and Deacon Tim Barry officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her niece, Heather Akins of Harcourt, and her nephew, Jason (Kerry) Akins and their children, Lincoln and August, both at home; her half-sister, Theresa (Steve) Schuster of Gower, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rosemary (Anglin) Morrow; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Steve Akins, and half-brother, Jim Morrow, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mary Jo Anglin was born October 10, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. She later moved to Fort Dodge, where she attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and graduated from St. Edmond High School and ICCC and attended Pella Christian College. She worked for many years in retail management. Mary Jo had currently been employed with Iowa Home Health Care as a care taker for past 6 years. Mary Jo was a longtime Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Bears fan. She enjoyed working and being with her pets. Mary Jo especially loved spending time her family and friends.
